Hi, I'm Alexis Jackson, the proud owner and founder of AJAX Studios, located right here in Woodbridge on Route 1. Dance has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember - I started dancing when I was just four years old, and from that moment on, I knew movement would always be my greatest passion.
I spent four amazing years training in a performing arts dance program, where I deepened my love for dance. But at 19, I chose a different path and joined the military. My time in service taught me dedication, discipline, and strength - values I carry into every class and every part of this studio today.
When I completed my military service, I knew it was time to return to what I love most: dance. That's when I opened AJAX Studios, a space built on passion, community, and inclusion. My goal was to create an environment where people of all ages and backgrounds could explore the joy of dance - whether they're returning after years away or stepping into their very first class as an adult.
