Frequently Asked Questions
We're so excited you'll be joining us! Whether you're brand new to dance or returning after some time away, we want your first visit to be fun, comfortable, and stress-free.
What should I wear?
Dance Class: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Athletic wear, leggings, joggers, shorts, and fitted tops are all great options. Depending on the style of class, your instructor may recommend specific footwear. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before your class.
Pole Class: For pole classes, clothing is a little different than a typical fitness class because your skin helps you grip the pole safely.
- Comfortable tank top, sports bra, or fitted T-shirt.
- Shorts that expose the backs of your knees (mid-thigh or shorter is ideal).
- Bare feet unless your instructor specifies otherwise for a particular class.
- Layers, such as leggings or a sweatshirt, for your warm-up if desired.
Please do not apply lotions, body oils, or moisturizers on the day of your pole class, as they make the pole slippery and can create a safety hazard for you and other students. It's always helpful to remove rings, watches, bracelets, and other jewelry before class to protect both you and the equipment.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable always!
Do I need dance experience?
Not at all!
We welcome students of all experience levels. Our instructors are happy to help beginners feel comfortable while also providing challenges for more experienced dancers.
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes! We offer private lessons for individuals and small groups. Contact us for availability, pricing, and scheduling.
Can I watch a class before joining?
To minimize distractions and provide the best experience for our students, classes are generally not open to spectators unless otherwise announced or approved by the instructor.
